Heraclitus states “The only constant in life is change” and for some there has been more change in recent months than in a lifetime before.

Things that we once assumed “normal” became anything but and words that we had never linked together became everyday phrases like “social distance”.  Business’ have been turned upside down, with many being forced to close their doors and send entire teams home.  With staff expected to adapt overnight to extreme change whilst also adding chef, cleaner, cook and childminder to their daily to-do lists. On top of that they have had to navigate new technology to help ensure they remained connected and productive whilst at home. It makes for exhaustive reading never mind living!

Our teams responded by asking questions, listening to customers, reading lots of research and very quickly realised why many business leaders were feeling overwhelmed.

Gartner Reports stats state that:

74% of companies plan to permanently shift to more remote work*

54% of HR leaders indicated that poor technology and/or infrastructure for remote working is the biggest barrier to effective remote working in their organisation*

We wanted to help! We decided to add a bit of creativity to our events calendar and created a virtual event to connect and engage with our customers in a new way. We hosted our RE:IMAGINE live virtual event, in collaboration with our partner, Dell, with breakout sessions, panel discussions and even included some prize giveaways.

Awards season may look a little different than normal this year with many of the usual events being cancelled or postponed, but despite the challenges faced by the organisers we have been pleased to receive multiple notifications of awards that we have been shortlisted or nominated for during recent months.

We received recognition at the Dell Partner Awards were we were nominated for two awards, namely:

IoD NI recently revealed the finalists for the Northern Ireland Director of the Year Awards, a list that comprises some of the best performing leaders in the region.

The Belfast Telegraph have shortlisted our team their Business Awards for the Best Established Small/Medium Business.
