It was an early start but the goal of reaching Dublin for a nice coffee and the chance to see Microsoft’s new €134 building.
We were greeted by friendly staff from Microsoft who brought us through to the “digital lake”. Janet kicked of the event and gave an overview of the event, the speakers and background to how 365 Saturday begun only 2 years ago and the momentum it’s gathered, it has spread to other countries and developed a strong community.
There were two workshops and the availability to meet with partners and Microsoft MVP’s to discuss any matters around Dynamics or other 365 products.
Dynamics has a strong following with very passionate and devoted following by technical, specialists and end users. It was a great opportunity to network with advanced end users and other specialists.
Power BI with open data sets and the open resources for use was very insightful and displayed the power of Power BI.
It was great to meet with other partners who offer services and support for Dynamics.
Note to our marketing team – the free ice cream machine went down a treat!
Got to see some insights into the future developments and also some independent views and very honest feedback on new features and comparisons to other competitors in the market.
Janet’s presentation was funny and energetic, special mention to Toby the cat who we all enjoyed hearing about. Janet talked about the for the successful running of projects using the ProSci PCT Model. Janet explained her own experience with the success and failures projects.
Overall a great event, took away a lot of good information and feedback for our team to develop upon. Most importantly great to meet and build some new relationships!
