Thought Leader Events
2019-11-16
At Outsource we believe that technology, when delivered and implemented correctly can have a positive impact on every aspect of business.
We regularly host thought leader events to educate, inform and introduce people to the potential and possibilities that technology can bring to their overall business performance.
We have hosted events to equip people to better understand how technology can help protect business from cyber-attack by increasing security; given people tools and information to navigate GDPR regulations; and helped others create positive cultures with increased employee engagement.
Our most recent event focused on business and employee health and well-being.
Significant evidence exists supporting the link between well-being at work and productivity. With well-being including physical health and mental well-being. Jobs that offer a good work–life balance with a good income are associated with better physical and mental health and less absenteeism. However, businesses vary considerably in how proactive they are in promoting employee well-being. Approximately 55% say well-being is on the agenda of senior leaders, with only two-fifths having a standalone well-being strategy in support of their wider organisation.
During our most recent Better Business Event, hosted at Galgorm Resort & Spa, we invited companies and organisation’s from across NI to discuss ideas and discover innovative solutions that could help them achieve their best year ahead.
Experts including Dr Jonny Bloomfield, (Support to Perform) & Tara Gale (Dell) talked us through:
- The importance of personal well-being
- Developing and implementing a strategy that could create real results
- The benefits of implementing technology to keep workforce’s engaged and empowered.
The final session of the day was in collaboration with David Meade and we were able to deliver a hugely rewarding and challenging team building experience where everyone in the room got to make a real difference in the life of another by building a prosthetic hand.
Some guests on the day commented:
“Just a quick note to say congratulations on the fantastic event yesterday. I attend lots of events in this industry and yesterday’s event was one of the most innovative and well executed events that I have seen. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the event.”
“Congratulations on another high-quality gig today. There is something really refreshing about how OS go about their business. It’s always nice to be around you guys, can you please pass on our note of thanks to all the team.”
