Irish News Awards – Best Place To Work!

2019-10-07

At Outsource our team is made up of the best people who are leaders, not followers.

As a technology company we fully understand that having the right tools to do your job is a necessity, but we believe that having the right staff is more important.

We spend considerable energy and effort in recruiting the right people, who fit our open, trusting culture. We are committed to investing in their personal training and development whilst continually empowering and equipping them to influence and make decisions.

We provide a ground-breaking and innovative suite of IT managed services and are proud that we have the title of Best Place to Work as selected by the judges of The Irish News Workplace and Employment awards.

We are fast approaching our 20th anniversary and during the time we have been in business have remained true to our core principles, despite operating in a rapidly changing environment with ever competing demands.

Our primary purpose has never been to be the biggest managed services provider in Ireland, despite a record-breaking year, nor has it been to be the most profitable, despite year on growth in profitability.  Fundamentally we have an always want to be number one at how we deliver exceptional levels of service and support to our customers and staff, when we believe are not mutually exclusive.   We do not benchmark ourselves against competitors, we want to lead and not follow.  Our focus is on constantly developing and delivering new and innovative service offerings to enable us to deliver on this strategy.

We have one of the highest retention rates in the industry and every new team member is welcomed with the hope and aim that “this will be the last job that you will ever have”.

Our business model is based on using the best technology and best people to deliver service for customers, and it operates under two over arching principles of “trust and fairness” with both staff and customers.  We encourage staff to call out when they make mistakes so that everyone can learn, and it constantly seeks performance feedback form customers so we can continually improve. Overall, we have developed an inclusive and empowered culture which makes our offices a positive and empowered place to work.

A few of our team had a great night at the Irish News Awards when they picked up the “Best Place To Work Award” on behalf of everyone at Outsource. A title that recognises the ongoing efforts from everyone at Outsource to make life better.
