Outstanding Contribution to the IT Sector
Terry Moore, CEO wins Outstanding Contribution to the IT Sector award presented by Noel Brady, Managing Director, NB1 Ltd
The award for Outstanding Contribution to the IT sector was given to IT veteran and Outsource Group chief executive Terry Moore.
Terry Moore founded Outsource Group over two decades ago and the business has since grown from strength to strength.
The managed IT services and security provider employs more than 100 people and is based across five offices in Antrim, Belfast, Cookstown, Dublin and Edinburgh.
The judging panel said: “He founded his own IT Managed Service business almost 25 years ago and has grown it into a real local success story. The company now employs almost 100 staff in five different locations.
“Last year he made a significant acquisition in the fast-growing cybersecurity space to enhance his company’s expertise in this important area, and he continues to recruit to grow his team. He is a stalwart of this industry and has a reputation for being an ambitious and self-motivated individual.
“He is someone who epitomises the endeavour and enterprise of Northern Ireland’s indigenous IT sector. He is also a gentleman and is widely liked and respected for his unwavering commitment to his team, his customers and the industry.”
